Privacy
Privacy should feel understandable.
This draft explains what information the product uses, why it is needed, where it goes, and what control users have over it.
Draft updated July 26, 2026
1. What the product collects
We may collect an account email address and basic profile information, the practice settings you choose, microphone audio during a live session, a temporary conversation transcript, coaching results, limited usage and technical data, and subscription status.
Please do not enter sensitive information about the person you are meeting. The product is designed to work with general details such as interests, occupation, how you met, and the type of date.
2. How information is used
Information is used to create a fictional practice scenario, conduct the voice conversation, generate coaching, secure accounts, enforce usage limits, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.
We do not claim the simulation represents or predicts a real person. We do not sell personal information or use practice content for targeted advertising.
3. What is saved
The current design saves privacy-minimized progress information: completion date, duration, selected focus and realism level, session mode, and a short coaching summary. Raw audio recordings, full transcripts, and the free-form description of your date are not added to permanent practice history.
Temporary scenario details and transcripts remain in the browser session so the user can view the immediate report. They are not added to account history and are removed by account deletion; exact browser clearing behavior can vary when tabs are restored.
4. Service providers and international processing
The product is designed to use OpenAI for conversation and coaching, Supabase for accounts and saved progress, Stripe for payments, and a cloud hosting provider for delivery. These providers process information on our behalf and may process it outside Canada, where local laws may permit government or legal access.
Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe’s hosted checkout and are not stored by this application.
5. Retention and deletion
Saved practice summaries are retained while the account remains active or until the user deletes them. Account deletion removes account-linked practice, usage, and billing-entitlement records after first attempting to stop any active Stripe subscription. Limited records may still be kept for fraud prevention, accounting, taxation, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations.
6. Choices and privacy rights
Users can review saved practice history, delete all saved practice summaries, delete their account, withdraw optional consent, and request access to or correction of personal information. Withdrawing necessary processing may make the service unavailable.
7. Security and age restriction
We use access controls, row-level database security, server-held credentials, signed payment webhooks, and data minimization. No system is completely secure, and users should avoid submitting unnecessary personal details. The service is only for adults aged 18 or older.
8. Contact and changes
A privacy officer’s title and working contact address will be published here before launch. Material changes will be explained clearly, and fresh consent will be requested when required.
